I will have my mechanic check the car out but I want other input too.

A. A 2003 is not an "old" car.
B. Parts for foreign cars in the USA, especially Hondas and Toyotas are no longer expensive like they used to be.

Feel good about buying a Honda. Good on gas, better on the environment than a gas-guzzling pig of an SUV, and in general, a Honda will run until the cows come home.

First of all i want to point out that i think that the 03 max is the best car that nissan ever built. as for the parts go they are just like any other car really. Not everything on the car is performance built. As long as you have your oil changed and the filters changed, there really should be no problems with your car. The only thing i think that sucks is that if you have to have a key made it is going to cost at least 150$ and if you get one with hid, that light bulb will cost you 230$ assuming you buy from a nissan parts department. Good luck and i hope you enjoy! feel free to email me with any questions you have.

I additionally pay attention approximately Nissan areas being costly. i think of it is because of the fact Nissan is distant places and that they might desire to precise order areas or some thing. yet Nissan is likewise an somewhat sturdy motor vehicle. It relies upon additionally in case you recognize of a mechanic which would be a splash much less stressful on you with the area costs (yet which would be a loaded suggestion..). What it comes right down to is while you're keen to shell out for it.

Your car might run on regular. The engine computer compensates for regular gas. Check your driver's book about this. As parts go, many big items are available from the nissan graveyards in California. For one that I (texas)use see: http://www.ninfiniti.com/inquiry.html

You will find nice support for your Maxima at "Maxima.org" where people help each other with car questions. Enjoy your ride.
