It's good to use a product to combat frizz before you straighten your hair so you protect your hair from the high heat. The more you dry your hair out, the more it wants to frizz. Many great smoothing products on market--try travel sizes first.

I don't really know what your asking, but I add shining products after I straighten. I don't know why, because my friends do it before with this really thick goopey stuff and it kind of sizzles and makes it more frizzy for me.

I do it after.

There is no correct way to shampoo hair without getting it frizzy after it dries off.

You can use No frizzy shampoo products to stop frizz.
I use Garnier Fructis for Frizzy, Dry and Unmanagable hair, shampoo and condit. and it stopped the frizz really good, And i have very frizzy hair so I can really judge.
