What limits (if any) do you feel are appropriate in psychic and physical self-defense? Do you have an example of a situation where you feel it's not at all appropriate?

Psychic self-defence--- If I meet up with a pyschic vampire and they are feeding on my energy. I simply block thier feeding ( i have ways to cut them off) and the very fact that I understand what they are doing and can block them should let them know that they should move on or leave me and my family alone. If they come back and are more psychically aggressive towards me or my family then other actions such as spells to bind ect have to be taken and will be taken by me. I have the right to protect me and my family. As for Physcial self-defense-----If my family or I are under attack where our lives are in danger, then like action can and should be taken in self defence. I am not an advocator of violence but I understand in today's world that sometimes violence is the best understood by those attacking. It is a sad thing that people are becoming more and more violence orinatated and as a result those of us who aren't have to resort to it to protect ourselves and our loved ones. In both Psychic and Physical situations I feel that I am armed and will remain so until the world becomes less aggressive or violent. Sorry if you expected those of us who are into witchcraft and magick to be passive when confronted by others who aren't. I will use my right to self-defense any time it is needed. Blessed Be.

I hope I understand you correctly; I believe that any measures taken in self-defense are appropriate, but that the punishment should fit the crime when applicable.
