You can purchase a car that is maybe last years model or the year beofre which has very low mileage and still a full warranty at the time of purchase. This car will still be just like new, but will not lose thousands of dollars in value the second you drive it off of the lot. This way you pay less and get the best of both worlds so to speak. Another thing is you can find someone you know that knows about cars preferrable a mechanic to look at the car before you buy it. You can also make sure you are not getting ripped off by checking what it is worh in the Kelly Blue Book online. Finally, you can run a vehicle history before to be positive the car has not been in any accidents before and simply repainted.

Do you mean the seller has not released interest in the car? If they haven't, how do you think you will transfer the title? It must be a dandy car with a bumper falling off, how secure could it have been when you looked it over. Sorry to say, but the sale is "as is", once the title is released, and the money transfers hands, you are stuck with the lemon that you bought.

There is no law that applies to used vehicles. Next time hire an inspections company like this one: http://www.anti-lemon.com - $100 bucks is nothing compared to dealing with a lemon... well, that you already know.

Report it to the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Always check there before you buy something from any independent store. Chains are a little different to deal with. Consult an attorney too.

Used cars don't come under lemon laws. Let the buyer beware. A good mechanic can help you.

Try to sell it or pawn it.
