Yes, everyone knows that Piltdown Man was a hoax. There are many other prehominid species that are not hoaxes. Why not look at the real evidence rather than the occasional hoax? A few years ago a scientist claimed to have produced a gene mutation that caused rats to have black and white checkerboard patterns in their fur. Turned out he had caused the effect by skin grafting. Does this hoax somehow invalidate the science of genetics? Or surgery??

Incidentally, the Piltdown fraud, which has been denounced by every real scientist, since scientists are only interested in discovering the truth, was not the "beginning" of evolutionary biology. It occurred more than 50 years after Darwin published the monumental "Origin of Species".

Piltdown was a hoax, and it was other scientists that put it to rest. It gets covered in University ethics classes for scientists all the time. That really had nothing to do with how Darwin pieced together evolution. He was actually studying finches

You guys act like scientists don't attack others research. Intentionally lying in a research ends a persons career now. Christians don't do that. That stupid story of Darwin recanting on his deathbed was a lie from the start. It gets posted here at least daily still. Anyone that took 10 seconds out of their time to Google it would see that it was a lie. Heck even Christian propaganda sites admit it. I also bet that a similar thing about Lucy is posted weekly and that just isn't true either.

Christians repeat the lies, science exposes them and moves on. End of story.

i think its double standard too. not just that but, people are so quick to judge Christians for their beliefs instead of giving God a chance. how the bible isnt logical to their undrestanding its a lie, because Jesus dont have fossils left behid. He didnt exist-excuse me, dont exist. but, if you actually read the bible for yourself-just maybe it would seem logical and when you dont understand or still dont believe then ask God to reveal it to you(after all what do you have to lose)
when you stand before God when the rapture come its not going be about how often you came to church or didn't come, not about your next door neighbor, your best friend, or whether you an atheist or christian but if you really believe in your heart, confess with your mouth and if you are saved or not. you can disagree but, the truth is the truth.
peace and God bless. ~sharisse~

Yes, I know about that fraud. What your "creation" agenda-driven people and websites won't tell you, though, is that the fraud was perpetuated by a Christian, and it was evolutionary scientists who EXPOSED it as a fraud. So who are the liars, here?

You are a liar and will stoop to no lengths to continue to find reasons to believe in your fantasy of a god. That is the biggest fraud ever concopted.

Did you know that the Jesus myth is just that - a myth? A total fraud, a sham, a makeup job? Made up of many other stories?

I'll bet the people opposed to your question/idea didn't read one word on that site you linked to.

Talk about ignorance and thinking for yourself!

Even if that was true (which it's not), there is plenty of other evidence for it so it doesn't matter
