no as long as you talk to her and not prank call her, if she makes it clear she doesn't want you to call her, then don't, but otherwise, go for it

Depends, but usually it is wrong to do so. They might think that you are stalking them, or you are not able to ask them for their number, instead you have to look it up. I have done that a couple of times where I would get a girl's number from somewhere else, and it never ends good, trust me.

If someone called me out of the blue and I hadn't gave them my number I'd be freaked out. How were you going to explain how you got her number? Why don't you just ask this girl for her number? I think that would be the more sensible option, or you could just speak to her face to face.

in that case it would be ok to call once. explain that you are interested in talking to her for what the reasons are ( ie. you have a crush on her and want to ask her out ) and ask her on that first call, is it ok that i called you ? I got your number out of the directory. then if she says dont call, then dont. but ur ok for the first tiem ( id say )

its not wrong, ,maybe kind of weird. desperate even.... i guess depends why your calling her. if its to let her know bout something important school wise or something she has to know.. i guess is not so bad. but if its just to try to talk to her... well why dont u instead ask her for her number..,but if u wanna give it a try u never know how it'll end up

SUCH a bad idea. That has stalker written all over it. You know it is possible to talk to a girl, say, in person, perhaps even at this school-place you mention.

That's a big no no. If they didn't give you there number, they either a) Don't want you to call them or B) they'll call you

I guess that would depend on how she responded to your call. If negatively, then don't call again but if positively then you're in.
