I don't think that there is a human being that would not embrace a person as jesus and see him as an example for humanity. The only thing the muslims don't do is to deify him as the son of god.

Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) is as much loved by Muslims as is Prophet Mohammad (peace be upin him). We believe that he was a prophet and messenger of Allah and not the son, because God has no children.

God does, it is everyone of us. Jesus said that we should address him as "our father in heaven".
You know what's sad? It is the christians who tend to be ignorant of that because some are not really educated about islam.
