A straightener.. Reason being Is when U Permanently straighten your hair u are breaking it..Plain and simple. Think of it like Bending your finger all the way backwords..Its not meant to go that way right? Well So .. U have to break it.. Then If u put something on there strong enough U will be able to keep it that way.. Same with Permanent straightening of the hair.. Now.. If u just use a hair straightener..U are not breaking it U are mearly bending it... Like a finger U can bend it and it will go back to where u had it.. Also when u use the straightener u can use a leave in product that protects against the heat. Which causes a barrier between your hair and the iron. Where Permanent dries out the hair alot and there is not protecting it..

Permanent straightening is better...I have it done...you won't be able to straighten your hair twice a week for a long time because as it gets more damaged the results will be more frizzy and puffy. I'd go for permanent straightening, it looks really good!

Using a straightener when you want your hair straight. If you get a staightener that works good on your hair do it that way. even though permanent straigtening can last up to half a year its still not going to look as good as being freshly straigtened that day. Straigtening with a flat iron helps to calm the frizzis and permanent straigtening doesnt (it may look good that day but once you get out the shower the next it wont look as good)

Neither for me.

While I have naturally wavy hair and occasionaly like a straight hair look (which is a pain to do with a blowdryer and of course damaging to do everyday) - I like to keep my options open for versatile hairstyling options - curly/wavy one day, straight the next. And while you still have that option if you straighten it (just curl your hair with curlers/curling iron).... I think you'll be happier not having to go through the process or the expense to constantly straighten your hair.

Embrace what nature gave you. Usually girls who have straight hair want curly/wavy hair and vice versa. Work with what you have, it'll certainly keep your hair much healthier, the less you process it, and find fun styles and ways to wear the hair you have. All it takes is experimentation.... you'll see how beautiful your hair can be as it is, using some nourishing products, conditioning regularly, and using defrizz pomades or products to tame what you have.

:)

I would suggest that you get some good silk protein like Chi or Silk Therapy. After shampooing, apply a lot of silk, dry hair with a Denman or vent or paddle-style brush, then apply more silk on your dry hair, use a Chi or other ceramic flat iron once or twice a week. Get a flat ironing lesson from a stylist.

perm because the staightener if u do itt to much it burns ur hair and kills itt..but the perm also uses a lot of heat to keep itt straight for 6 months...but the less u do itt the better itt is for ur hair and also buy sum strightening oil and stuff...if u are going to use the straightener instead of perming it...

permanent straightening as its last longer and does not need you to worry about finding time to straighten it everyday...
save your time and energy ^_^

It can go either or. If you permanet straight your hair you won't be able to scrunch it or curl as easily ( that's if you do that)
Usually theres not much to do with straight hair.

* OR. *

If you permantly straight your hair then you don't have to straight it all the time which will save time.

---

But if i knew how you do your hair everyday I would tell you which would be better.
