Antibiotics? I read about an antibody that neutralizes HIV. It is a recent finding in molecular biology. Those doing such research had elucidated the structure of an an antibody that effectively neutralizes human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), making it unable to invade cells. To develop a vaccine Iis one of the most compelling medical challenges today which is believed to provide complete prophylactic protection to someone who is exposed to the virus. An important part of such a vaccine will be an effective neutralizing antibody against HIV, which would circulate through the blood, and track down and kill the virus. Such vaccine would be greatly helpful considering that the antibodies that the body normally produce to fight HIV are ineffective.
