Just, quite simply, what does it bring in? It brings in winds right? And assorted sea shells on the beach....... what other things would a surf bring in?

it brings in bait fish,jellyfish,any item floating or tumbling around out in the seas! And it brings me to the shore to fish for the species that come into feed!


Or do you mean tides?

Rotted wood from a 19th Century ship wreck. On Long Island's Jones Beach, sometimes wood from old ship wrecks floats to the shoreline after being on the bottom of the ocean for over 100 years.

On an incoming tide it will bring schools of bait fish which in turn brings in larger fish

Well Debris from wrecks,dead fish,medical waste,bait fish,and an occasional body.
