No, jay-walking is not a sin.
It is breaking a law of man, not one of God's Laws (and it ain't that big a deal, anyway.)

You are correct. We should be obeying the laws of the land UNLESS it violates our God conscience....Traffic laws certainly should be followed. God has sovereignly placed kings and rulers over our respective lands..we are to be in compliance as unto God.

Romans 13:1-7 states: "Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

sinning and breaking laws are two different matters, Christians believe both should be followed, a sin is breaking one of God's commandments and i do not believe God said thou shalt not jay walk

I never thought about man made laws but i should imagine breaking rules would not please God just the same!!
