When Jesus heard this he said "you still lack one thing, sell every thing you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

looks like all you christians will be joining the atheists and satanists for eternity in hell

why does this passage have such flexibility, but not the story of creation?

Yes, "Accept Communism or die", as the Brick Testament memorably has it, in its illustrated account of Ananias and Saphira,
Acts 4:32 on...
"The entire group of believers held everything in common, and no one claimed private ownership of any possessions. Any who owned houses or land sold them, and the money they laid at the feet of the apostles."

That is what Jesus said to one man at a particular moment, this was by no means a command to all his followers.
Sorry, you can't try to enforce something that Christ did not request of all of us. Nice try.

This is not a literal commandment. Did Paul sell all he had and give to the poor? No, he didn't. This is a commandment for a state of mind and a way of life... Always being willing to put others and their needs before your own.
