Science defines ethics as, “a set of moral principles. The study of morality.” Therefore, Christian Ethics would be the principles, derived from the Christian faith, by which we act. While God’s Word may not cover each and every situation we face throughout our lives, it’s principles give us the standards by which we must carry ourselves in those situations where there are no explicit instructions. For example the Bible does not say anything explicitly on the use of illegal drugs, yet based on the principles we learn through scripture we can know that it is wrong.
The Bible tells us that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and that we should honor God with it (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Knowing what these drugs do to our body, the harm they cause to various organs, we know that by using them we would be destroying the temple of the Holy Spirit. That is certainly not honoring to God. The Bible also tells us that we are to follow the authorities that God Himself has put into place (Romans 13:1). Given the illegal nature of the drugs today, by using them, you are not submitting to the authorities, but rather, rebelling against them. Does this mean if illegal drugs were legalized it would be ok? Not without violating the first principle.
By using the principles we find in Scripture, Christians can determine their course for any given situation. In some cases it will be simple, like the “Rules for Christian Living” we find in Colossians chapter 3. In other case, however, we need to do a little digging. The absolute best way to do that, in this author’s opinion is to pray over God’s Word. The Holy Spirit indwells each and every believer, and part of his role is teaching us how to live:

Get your answer from the best source the Gospel of the Bible. If you get it from other people pretty much it's like rumor a lot of the facts are pretty much botched to the point someone says she's Christian but has one of the most hateful attitude towards others esp. to the non-believers and to those she considers as sinners.

Far as I can glean, they're not supposed to be disrespectful, hateful, mean spirited, uncharitable, smug (which pretty much covers thinking and acting like they're better than anyone else), deceitful (like lying, for instance), they're not allowed to be envious, I think threatening people is out, too.
Pretty much everything you'll see the fundies (fundamentalist Christians) do on this site.
They're a really good advertisement for Christianity, I can tell you.

“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
Matt 22:36
I think that pretty much sums it up :) Love God more than anything, life for Him and the rest will come naturally

Follow the 10 commandments that will basically keep you out of trouble in everyday life, Thou shalll not kill, commit adultry, honor thy parents and so on. To me each sin or breaking a commandment can really effect you mentally some people it don't . In my younger years I picked up a woman in a bar I knew she told me she was divorced, I found out later she wasn't I ran into her and her husband later and it was the most awful feeling I have ever felt.
