Thank you all for sharing your answers. The only reason I ask is because I am going through my worst mental anguish in these last months (since October). Deaths, deaths of connections, divorce, and other BAD stuff that I cannot discuss; it's all bad. But I am getting better and I hope you all are too.

When I accidently killed a jogger while driving. I lost control of my vehicle while pouring coffee out the window. There was not any alcohol or drugs involved or anything. This happened 2 1/2 years ago. I think of the woman everyday of my life. There have been other traumas in my life too, sometimes i feel like Job. My dad died just over a year ago of suicide. To make a long painful story short i've also lost other friends and loved ones by death.

The death of a best friend, grandpa, cousin that I was close to when little. Died within 1 year of each other and devastated me. Thanks to a very observant school principal, I was brought out of my shell, or who knows how I would have ended up.

I got in a fight my freshman year of college. I beat the guy's head into a curb. He has been vegetative since. That was 1991.

Years ago I was accused of stealing money from friends. Only a couple of people believed me at first, and it was mental torture.

When my father died of cancer. I was clinically depressed for over a year. He was my best friend.
