More to the point, why does everyone blame God for the behavior of deranged or abusive people?

Most folks who suffer adversity usually find great comfort in their relationship with God. Maybe because He experienced abuse and violence when He walked among us. It's odd that we seldom ever turn to Him when all is rosy and going our way.

If a child is born to parents that abuse, then God is not allowing anything. God has standards and requirements to make "adults" deemed fit for having children, however these things are completely overlooked by way too many individuals. God also says that their will be special punishment for hurting innocent children, to those who never repent and change their evil ways. God knows each and every child's heart is innocent, and although he is allowing wickedness here on the earth for the time, these are the last days of this wicked system, and God has every intention of wiping it away for all of the right-hearted ones. If a child grows up to not believe in God, then God would certainly understand the reasons behind that decision, and not hold them accountable for circumstances beyond their control.

Man has freedom to choose God,He gives us a will of our own.The people that abuse children are not of God,and it is horrible that any child suffers at the hands of these demons.I was a victim of abuse, and have faith in God.I have had to forgive many. Some day these abusers will all face God,if they have not asked for forgiveness and confessed what they have done God will not receive them into his kingdom.I realize Gods heart breaks at the sight of any child being abused, and I also realize if I did not have God in my heart I could have turned out to be abusive myself. He walks through your storms, and sometimes Carry's you.He is close to the broken and promises to bind up the broken hearted.

What would be the alternative? Rescind free will from human beings and turn them all into mere intelligent animals who can't make moral decisions are are ruled by instinct?? God has created humans in His own image and likeness, with moral capacity and free will. free will would be meaningless if God said, "I give you the power to choose good vs. evil, but whenever you choose evil I'll jump in and make sure nobody gets hurt". Therefore God must allow the natural results of morally poor choices by human beings, and is in no way responsible for those choices.

God didn't abuse the child. The abuser abused the child. That was the abusers choice--free will--to do that. God gave everyone the gift of free will.
How you use it is up to you.
The abused child has free will to hold it against God or the abuser. The abuser is the one who committed the crime.

Because he gave humans free will, and it takes a special kind of faith to believe in God when things are tough, and on final judgement God will value that greatly

God will test all of humanity with loss, difficulties and tough experiences, because this life is a test. God shall reward those who are patient and keep their faith in him during testing times.

God understands the pain of a child who was abused (who then grows up and is skeptical of parent figures).
