You have done some Study,I like it.
I was looking at 1967 when Temple Mount was back in control of Jews,2500 Yrs had passed. Why did Moshe Dayan
a Secular Jew have His troops to lower the Star of David they had raised,It was time to build the Jewish Temple.I then
looked at History.Israel was to posses the land of Caanan
but pulled back and waited 40 Yrs.Then they took Possesion.
Back to present If Israel was to start bldg Temple in 1967
and pulled back for 40 yrs,That would be this Yr.of course 2007 adding seven Yrs to that for Tribulation would be 2014.

One other thing the King Herod that had the Babies Murdered in Bethlehem Died in 4 B.C. according to Joesphes Antiquitey of the Jews,Historian.: If that was the case this would mean today is 2011/ also the First Advent
was written about in the Psalms-----The Second Advent
is also there,Psalams 107 in the Hebrew has Seven Inverted Nuns, looks like a Bowl being poured out. This speaks of Judgement,There are only Nine Inverted Nuns in the O. T.
The other Two are located in Numbers,Judgement.

One person attempted to do what you are doing in the 1800's. The results were riots and people going crazy over nothing. Only the Lord knows the time and day. All the rest are random guesses.

well first it is my understanding that our calender is off by a few years..
Many are with 2012 and others 2018, but the whole point is that it is very very close.
Using your date of 2033, with the pre-tribulation rapture then the rapture of the church would be 2026
It will be very interesting if we last that long..

Um, no. People have tried this before - didn't someone predict the second coming back in in 1840? Did Christ show up?

That should answer that question.

Your math is sound, but you do seem to be of the belief that christ was in fact of divine origin. I would suggest a more cautious approach and go with a maybe on that.

That's ridiculous. I know there's an eclipse in 2033 or maybe even an earthquake. I know the Buddha might return. 2033 = 2616 years after Buddha died in 583BC?

Setting of dates for the return of Christ is an exercise in futility (from what I have seen of such date setting).

Jesus tells us that no man (or woman) knows the time of his return.

Cordially,
John

no, even Jesus while on the earth didn't know when he would return and there is no way of predicting the date. He will come like a thief in the night(by surprise). nobody will know until it has happened
