We all have faith in something. For example why do you go over bridges? You didn’t see anybody build it. You don’t know if it’s going to hold up and not break when you go over it. You go over it because you have faith in the engineers and the builders that it will work. You didn’t see any of this, but you have faith in it.

Salvation is not the result of any human effort or merit. Faith itself achieves nothing; rather, it is the object of faith which has value. It's faith in something and enthusiasm for something that makes a life worth living.

Because it is not for the creature to test his Creator, if this was allowed then God would be relegated to the place of mans slave, faith is to believe that God is Who He is, and that which has been revealed is the truth even without seeing.

I don't need faith. No one taught me any advantages of it during school, so therefore faith is not necessary.

Unless it's blind faith that my dreads will lock properly, in which case I can make an exception.
