I have not seen many temples in south India, but I am told there are many gr8 temples

I would say all temples have their own energy, their own history and importance.

I hv seen almost all temples of north, but my favourite is Jawalaji Temple.

this temple is in Himachal Pradesh and is dedicated to Dush-Mahavidyas. There are 9 flames burning always, without any oil or cotton.

These flames come out of cracks in the hillock and have been burning for 1000s of years. Great Siddhas Gorakh Natch and Nagarjuna did their Tapasya here.

It is said that Mother Shakti is physically manifesting here in form of flames

The annual Jagannatha Ratha Yatra , observed by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu five hundred years ago, was taken to the west by A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Founder-Acharya of ISKCON
