Yes, he is.
Any one can be a pretty good cook.
A really good cook, knows many different styles, knows about unusual ingreidents (and has the resources to get them) and can be creative and cook under pressure.
Most people never get to experience this kind of cooking.

From what I have heard, yes! His showing on the Iron Chef against Bobby Flay was impressive. He worked the judges and seemed to be enjoying himself the whole time. Bobby Flay seemed frantic and completely engrossed. Mario and Rachel amazed and conquered...

He probably is, but the only reason I don't watch him too much is he doesn't cook things that have meats or ingredients that are readily available. Or, that the average family has in their cupboards or refrigerator, or even at their local market

I love to cook and am pretty good at it...I tried alot of his food and love it!!! Another one to try is Giada DeLaurentiis. Both are excellent just different styles
