I want to live forever, but Heaven has got to be a pretty boring place. Ask any Christian to describe Heaven and they will say it's "awesome". But when asked to clarify there isn't much beyond "the streets are paved with Gold" and "you get to spent eternity with God" and "you get to praise Jesus forever" and the like.

No real substance. I don't know about you, but I could care less about Gold paved streets. And I think an eternity of praising Jesus would get boring after only a few hours, much less hundreds and thousands and millions and billions of years. I think after only a fortnight I'd be calling up the Devil looking for a way out.

Doing nothing for eternity. Sounds like a blast. Where do I sign up? I think I'd rather spend eternity here on earth. It would be a pretty grand place once all the Christians, Jews, and Muslims left.

Death is the key to Heavens door, (as long as it is not at my own hand). Then when its opened for me, I will be there. No questions. Its a sure thing.

I don't get it. Are you asking if I could die, or if I could go to heaven?

If I had a choice between 2 imaginary places.....hmmm...let's see....

Yes, because Heaven has got to be better than THIS place.

The Apostle Paul was faced with this same question. Paul realized it was personally better for him to die and be with Christ, but it was more necessary for him to remain on earth for the good he could do towards others.

Philippians 1:23-26

"I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, so that through my being with you again your joy in Christ Jesus will overflow on account of me. "

When my times, sure. Heaven is what YOU make, need it to be.
A place with NO suffering... true peace. When my time comes. :) But I gotta say, I'm not ready yet. Sure the world sucks....but my family makes it suck less. ;)

You don't go to heaven, you grow to heaven.

There isn't any heaven, neither is there hell. When you die that's it, cease to exist, so make the best of this one and only life you have.
