I encountered a virus problem and i somehow managed to eliminate it by uninstalling Norton Anti-Virus and reinstalling a Panda Anti-Virus..During that process something was not right. I also uninstalled my Macromedia Coldfusion as i was not using it frequently. During the uninstall process, my pc hanged. I messed up something in the system restore but i managed to uninstall Macromedia Coldfusion and also got rid of the virus (w.32.RONTOK).
Now, whenever i start-up my computer, i get this error : Windows cannot find "'C:\WINDOWS\explorasi.exe\ Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button and then search.

Why is this happening? I guessed i messed something up...i am a user of genuine Windows XP Professional.

explorasi.exe is a weird name as explorasi is a malay word...

My location: Malaysia

Please advise......and thank you for your time in reading my problem...

seems like your explorer.exe file is corrupted with the explorasi.exe my suggestion is iot is still infected. usually only one program wont eliminate the virus or trojan. also when you delete a virus it is good to use a registry cleaner to get rid of the bad dll files that the virus left behind. also any time you clean a virus you shouls reboot to save the settings. as for your problem try a system restore to an earlier date and rescan for viruses and clean the registry
