this bartender that i have had a crush on for about a year now always flirts w/me when im in there. He will periodically give me free drinks. Its not like i tip him so generously either, i do tip him but i dont think thats why he flirts. I know he has a girlfriend, and he knows i know he does. But he still flirts w/me, i like him but i am keeping my distance for the purpose of his girl. Could he still like me?

Bartenders flirt a lot. Depending on the bar and the bartender they will even flirt with both sexes. It doesn't necessarily mean anything more than what it is, flirting.

i was actually in a similar situation..bartenders are tricky creatures that way. hes prob not really that into you, you may just be a familiar face, i mean think of how many people they see on a daily basis. I dont think they actually date people that they serve well if i was a bartender i dont think i would. flirtation makes any job more fun so if he hasnt gone for it yet, dont harp. and im not being harsh bc i liked a bartender for a while and made myself get over it!!

he may like you, but when he flirts don't take it as a compliment. If he has a girlfriend and he's flirting with other chicks ( you ) then he is a man whoore and u don't need him.
