Deen. دﻴﻦ

Though I'd be careful about using Arabic here, nowadays.

I just got two Messenger messages from two guys whose postings had been in Arabic here.

One had a problem with his server and the other just wanted to make friends here! Their Questions got deleted and they didn't understand the English Violations Notice, so they IM-ed me and asked what was up.

For Heavens sake, I thought this was the Languages Section!

Poor Muhammad was very sad when I had to tell him what happened and Abdul, the Computer guy was stunned!

Cheers!

it depends on what context you are using the word religion in:

religion1 [rəˈlidʒən] noun
a belief in, or the worship of, a god or gods
Arabic:
دين

religion2 [rəˈlidʒən] noun
a particular system of belief or worship
Example: Christianity and Islam are two different religions.
Arabic: عَقيدَه

Al-Dīn (الدين) or Diyana (ديانه)
the way of life based on Islamic revelation; the sum total of a Muslim's faith and practice. DÄ«n is often used to mean the faith and religion of Islam.
