I am travelling on June 28, 2007 from England to Canada. Should I get a US visa here before?

I'm assuming you're travelling on a British passport. If so, you do not need a visa as long as you have a machine readable passport. If you don't have a machine readable passport you will now need to get a visa.

Passports issued in the last 6 or so years should be machine readable...mine was issued in Dec 2000 and is fine.

If you're a British citizen, you don't need a visa to travel to Canada. You need a passport to travel to the U.S. from Canada. I don't think you need a visa.

From the U.K., no visa needed to visit the U.S. unless you have special circumstances, such as a criminal history.

yes, that way it's less hassle later, make sure you tell them your plan, how long you will be in the US etc..
