There is a photograph from the Vietnam war, with a vietnamese girl named Phan Thi Kim Phuc. It is a truely incredable and sad picture. Kim in running and crying, naked in the street because her house (and the rest of her village) was accidentally stuck with napalm. She tore off her clothes because they were completely burning her flesh off. its an amazingly powerful picture that really shows the other side of the coin when it comes to american wars.

NOTE: this picture is graphic, so be advised.
As i said, the girl is nude, so depending on your grade level (i assume this is for homework?) this may or may not be appropriate for your project.

Sunds like a homework assignment, but here goes. In a Time-Life anthology, there was a picture of a Nazi woman triumphantly presenting her Jewish neighbor to be carried away to a death camp. She was really proud of herself. I know this won't help you cheat on your homeowrk because the photo isn't online, you'll have to go ask for it at the library.
