Jesus was modeled after the pre-Christian God Mithras who at the time was called the Son of God and he was born on December 25, died, was buried, then was ressurected in 3 days. All of the "sacred rituals" of Christianity, and all of Christianity's core beliefs (virgin birth, resurrection, etc.) come straight from pagan religions that were popular around the time of Jesus. No scholar has presented any proof Jesus existed besides the Bible (which is mainly based on Paganism) and several documents that nobody can prove were factual. Ask yourself also, why doesn't God answer your prayers? It's because there is no God.

Christians believe that a creator is essential. Scientists believe that the idea of a "creator" is pure mythology, and that the complexity arose through natural processes like evolution. Who is right?
You can actually answer this question yourself with a little logic. Here are the two options:
1. The complexity of life and the universe did arise completely spontaneously and without any intelligence. Nature created all the complexity we see today.
2. An intelligent creator created all of the complexity that we see today because complexity requires intelligence to create it.
The advantage of the first option is that it is self-contained. The complexity arose spontaneously. No other explanation is required.
The problem with the second option is that it immediately creates an impossibility. If complexity cannot arise without intelligence, then we immediately must ask, "Who created the intelligent creator?" Therefore, God is impossible.

There are four accounts that state otherwise.
It would have been more honest to say I don't the accounts rather than pretend that the accounts themselves were made up.
For your information, Jesus was born September 4 BC, and it was later changed to December.
The resurrection is a Jewish belief that existed in the 1st Century AD.
Why God does or does not answer prayers does not mean there is no God.
The bible assumes God. The notion of a Jewish Messiah occurs hundred of years before this Pagan Cult.
Answer: You simply do not believe in the Christian revelation. All you details are your attempt to justify your beliefs.

"he was born on December 25"
The bible nowhere associates December 25 with the birth of Jesus. That was a far later addition.
"was buried, then was ressurected in 3 days"
The only references to Mithra doing either of these things come from post-Christian sources (Tertullian and Firmicus).
"virgin birth"
Mithra was born out of solid rock, full grown. Jesus was born as a babe with a human mother. So wrecks the parallel there, doesn't it?
"the Bible (which is mainly based on Paganism)...."

You don't know your facts. And why do you believe in something that's all made up just for money (Evolution)? Where are those religions now? Gone the way of the Dodo, but Christianity is still around because Jesus Christ is real and as he said is with us till the end of this system of things.

The only way to answer this question is to know God and the Lord Jesus Christ for yourself.
If you don't know God and Christ, it is impossible to answer this question.
Relying on human logic assumes that human logic is the greatest logic in the universe.
Yet, human logic did not create the universe. The Universe created human logic.
If you don't want to know God and Christ, then don't.
If you don't believe in God and Christ, then don't.
But it is useless to try to convert to atheism those who believe because we have actually come to know God and Christ for ourselves.

DON'T ANSWER THIS QUESTION! Teacher is a fraud. Trying to stir things up just so that he can award ten points to someone who validates his Christian beliefs in the face of opposition. Read through his other questions/answers.
By the way, Teacher, what's the "proof that God exists" that you speak of in your answer to the atheism question? I'd love to hear your proof of a God. Please...My side is splitting from uncontrollable laughter.

Even many atheists believe that Jesus existed. They just don't believe what the eye witnesses said about Him in the Bible.
As for me, I do have a personal relationship with Jesus. I trust in Jesus.

There is a book called The Historical Jesus which provides evidence that he did exist but there you are correct, there just isn't much about him that can be 'proven' other than what these scholars found.....very interesting read. (Buddhist)

because Jesus is real
if you were God could you be wise enough to triumph and trump all false god's?
the dead sea scrolls the continuation of the Church and Church history-millions that know Jesus personally including me is all proof of Jesus existance.
yet when one is determined not to believe and to go to hell forever-it is truely their choice=really-what did I lose as a Jew letting Jesus forgive my sins and help me, come into my heart and become my friend, amen"
and Jesus also said there is a hell of weeping forever and gnashing teeth for those who reject the word of God (John 12:48) hell and heaven are described in Revelation 19-22nd chapters
that isnt even what I think-that is what Jesus says -I believed him for salvation and got set free-why would I think he is lying about hell, heaven, and Him as my best friend let alone His existence!!??
