Thanks for putting this question ..
1- as many good people have their lives cut short .. so it is something to recognize that there is more good people than bad..
2- From Religious point of view . . Evil people has just their lives on earth to enjoy .. and meaning enjoy ( if they really can enjoy life )
3- As god is great and merciful .. always trying to give the evil people the chance to ask for his mercy .. and to do some good things before it is so late . God want evil people to be good .. and has their chances for going to heaven .. by asking for mercy and truly trrying to be better ..
4- Good people who die young are the most happy people .. cause if you believe in heaven and hell .. then they must be now in heaven .. ( You prefer this world ?? or the heaven ?? )
5- Bad people on doing something bad for you or you can see their bad acts .. make you more nearer to God .. and trying to do the same ..
6- if you only meet the good people on Earth .. so what is the need to ask for heaven ??!!
i guess i have many other reasons .. but i fear it will bore you ..
Now just think that by trying to make yourself better .. is the aim of our life .. God will not ask you for the others doing .. it is your own doings which matters for God ..
God bless you ..

Life isn't fair. I lost 12 people last year. One was my best friend. At least he died suddenly. A lot of the others suffered with cancer, heart conditions, diabetes......I've stopped asking why. The religious people will give you explanations, such as this is the devil's time to rule the earth until the rapture, etc, but none of their explanations "fly" with me. Maybe bad karma. That makes the most sense of any spiritual explanations. Maybe they were real MF's in their last life & now they're paying for it.

The good people just have to try hard to triumph over the bad.

Jihad! or religious wars, so to speak! Christianity, Muslims and Jewish people always fight each other yet they supposedly believe in the same "G-d*"? Osama Bin-laden or George W. Bush?
*G-d is used so I won't be offending any Jewish guy in my neighborhood. Quotes are used because there might be linguistic differences [English, Arabic, Hebrew, etc...]

Who is appointed to decide good and evil? What is good for you may not be for me. What is evil to me may not be to you.

Maybe some are given more time to repent. That would be compassionate of God.
