I am a marathon runner, who's really slowed down over the years.
I went from a 2:40 marathon to a 4:48... sick! I did every kind of training to try and put a stop to this downward spiral and nothing works. Could toxicity has something to do with this?

It definitely can impact your life in everyway. I do a three day detox about every three months. Good Luck.It may not make you faster but you will definitely feel better.

Do you ever strength train? A 2:40 time is pretty great - when you say over the years, are we talking about 3 years or 25? You might see some real difference in your stamina if you add strength training 3 days a week. Lean muscle mass starts to atrophy at age 30, and you could be experiencing a drop in stamina as a result.

As far as your overall tox levels, it is always a great idea to do a good detox! I assume you are already drinking WATER ONLY because you are a marathon runner - RIGHT?? So try a good herbal colon cleanse and a detoxifier, just make sure it's herbal. But I'm betting that the strength training willl serve you better for this application.

I wish you great success! Running a marathon is an incredible accomplishment regardless of your time!!

Go to a Health Food store and they will have detoxifiers. Also drink lemon water. No sugar-you can use a sweetner. Lemon is an antioxidant. Also, when was the last time you had a complete physical with a full panel blood work?
