Where we sort of planted here? Is it possible that prehistoric man was genetically engineered into modern man?

It's vaguely interesting speculation, but since there isn't a single shred of physical evidence that would support the supposition, and there is plenty of physical evidence which indicates that it would not be necessary, I would dismiss it as a potential explanation until there's actually some supporting evidence.
I could also speculate that it was aliens that came in and used up the last of my toilet paper, but without any supporting evidence, the hypothesis that my room-mate just poops a lot remains a more likely explanation.

I believe in "God"....but as the universal collective conciousness of all life and love through time and space..
I also believe that we were planted here by other beings and engineered into modern man....
Royals claim to get there right to rule from God...or God-like ancestors
God made that happen....God is everything.... even the aliens that created us......
Oh.... I actually believe we were genetically altered starting with apes... The aliens must have gotten an experiment right!!!

Here's my consideration:
It seems to me incredibly odd that an intelligent race would find us here, come across potentially hundreds (if not thousands) of light years, engage in a multi-century scientific task...and then leave.
Logically impossible? No. Probable? Also, no. Supported by any concrete evidence? Again, no.

No , to your question. BUT I sometimes wonder when people see UFOs,,,,,,,might they be seeing something from the spirit world whether it might be good or evil. If man can create the car, plane, and space shuttle.......................just think of what God may have created for unexplained reasons.

I dunno if aliens exist or not, I'm skeptic about that, but I don't think they had anything to do with our existence.
