Without revealing too many family secrets, the eggs in Italian ice cream are first made into a custard. This cooks them sufficiently to deal with any salmonella or listeria. The mixture is cooled, pasteurised cream and fresh fruit is added and then it is frozen. The only real risk is what might fly into it while it's in the freezer waiting to be served. Food and pregnancy are major preoccupations of most Italians. You'll be fine.

Ice cream doesn't have raw eggs, the milk would have to be pasturized, because it wouldn't even be safe for non-pregnant people if it weren't, and I've never heard anything about eating peanuts or peanut butter while pregnant for that matter.

Don't think so... if there was I'd imagine they'd have to put a warning on the menu?
Obviously some of the 'flavours' such as M&M may have been in contact with nuts etc.
As far as I'm aware the ice-cream is made from a powdered mix - but I could be wrong!!

If it comes from McDonalds, consider it poison for you baby. McDonalds is notorious for mislabeling foods, and cross contamination. Their stuff is loaded with artificial colors, flavors and preservatives. Peanut cross contamination would most certainly be an issue. Here is the list of ingredients-it clearly states it may contain traces of peanuts
Vanilla Reduced Fat Ice Cream: Whole milk, sucrose, cream, nonfat milk solids, corn syrup solids, mono and diglycerides, guar gum, imitation vanilla flavor, carrageenan, cellulose gum, vitamin A palmitate. Contains milk ingredients. Mini M&M'S® Candies: Milk chocolate (sugar, chocolate, milk, cocoa butter, lactose, soy lecithin, salt, artificial flavors), sugar, less than 0.5%: coloring (includes yellow 5 lake, red 40 lake, blue 1 lake), cornstarch, corn syrup, dextrin. Contains milk and soybean ingredients. May contain peanuts

A pregnant women should be fine eating a McFlurry. It's most likely made from pasteurized milk.
Anyway... If a pregnant woman has a craving, can you stop her? Highly Unlikely.

Take time once a 1 week to plan out and shop for meals and snacks so you happen to be prepared whenever hunger strikes.
