As Robert K. said, be in the word. And God will give you peace about His path...if you're uneasy or unsure, He may be telling you to wait or stop, peace that passes all understanding is a good indication you're going the right way.

The Good News, the Word of God as spoken only by Jesus, is truth.
Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, "these are the Words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the Prophets and in the Psalms Concerning Me".
John 5:63 "it is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profit nothing; the Words I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
John 14:21 "He that hath my Commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me."
Mark 13:23 "Behold, I have foretold you all things"
----- John 14:26 is the foundation for that which is truth in the Word Jesus spoke unto us. -----
If Jesus told us everything we asked, why do you need anothers words to tell it to you again, do you not believe Jesus?

how= Jesus said "I am the WAY, the truth and the life, no one cometh unto the Father but by me." John 14:6
there is only one path to heaven= really-what did I lose as a Jew letting Jesus forgive my sins and help me, come into my heart and become my friend, amen"
and Jesus also said there is a path to heaven & many to hell of weeping forever and gnashing teeth for those who reject the word of God (John 12:48) hell and heaven are described in Revelation 19-22nd chapters
that isnt even what I think-that is what Jesus says -I believed him for salvation and got set free-why would I think he is teaches the paths about hell and heaven??

To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:
2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,
3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,
4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge,
6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness,
7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren knor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
12 For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, though you know and are established in the present truth.
13 Yes, I think it is right, pas long as I am in this tent, to stir you up by reminding you,
14 knowing that shortly I must 7put off my tent, just as our Lord Jesus Christ showed me.
15 Moreover I will be careful to ensure that you always have a reminder of these things after my decease.

Yes, you can find the answers in the Bible but you can tell if you are acting in love because God is
