Dont listen to what the last lady just told u. shes talkin bout white people waves. Brushing is what gives you waves. A wave is a weighed down curl and the only thing that wave caps, durags, and pomades do is weigh your hair down to make your waves more visible. u probly should get some moisturizer and a durag at least doe. waves come in a lot faster and fresher when your hair is moisturized and a durag protects your pattern while you sleep. go to dis site for more info.....

Get your hair wet, pin it in waves and let it dry. You can also use a curling iron with a big barrel on it to achieve a wavy look or huge rollers will do the same thing. Whatever you try, be sure to use mousse on your hair first to help it hold the waves once you have them.
