The purpose of the question is to ask how I can change my diet to have less wiping. I know some people think it is an odd question, but I heard that metamucil can help, and was wondering if anyone had advice to share based on personal experience.

eat more fruit you and less fast food(and junk food) and you will have less wiping to do

Water is the universal body solvent. It why you feel very thirsty after eating as your body need the water for digestion. The more Fiber you eat alone with water will give a softer "Stoole". Meats will give more firm Stoole. But, actually eating a well balanced diet along with drinking plenty of water keeps everything about right.
Just for Trivia, Vegetables make farts stink and Meats do not.

Some times. 50/50% youll have to do a bunch of wiping. Other 50 you wont.

Just means that the feces is well formed and lubricated by natural mucous in your intestine... completely normal.

Are you asking for advice on ways to do this or are you asking why this is already happening? Either way, why would you ask?
