Atheists don't believe in god. That's true. But atheism does not preclude a belief in religion. There are plenty of deity-free religions. Learn a thing or two about atheism before you kick us to the curb. Seriously.

Because they try to understand why others do. Since religion has a LOT to do with just about every aspect of life (for many) and how why some of our laws came about, it's helpful to know why people believe and why they allow themselves to be ruled by a handful of people (the church) interpreting ancient mythology to suit their own purposes.
Religion affects us all (at least here in the US), whether we are followers of it or not.

More than the men of religion, it is the atheist who is constantly remembering God. By default, they are reminding the people of God. Long live atheism.

atgheist are here on the board because they dont want followers of the god_0 to take over the human society and impose their rules on the other part of the non god_0 believers, the best place to combat is here or do you prefer that the combat is in th streets ?
