Its hard to explain what it is and how it feels that is why ppl say "he speaks to you in your heart"
Personally i dont think its right to say that he speaks to you in your heart, i think it describes it better to say he speaks to your heart.
ITs kinda like, say u have a very hard decision to make and u pray and ask God to help you make the right decision. Then after a while, after thinking about it, u just suddenly come to a decision and u just have a feeling that thats the right thing to do. OR if every one says one thing, and there is nothing apparently wrong with what they are saying, u just get a feeling that its not really right and that it may cause prolems in the future.......this is Jesus speaking to your heart.
Its not word like language used on hearth, its like hes speaking to your soul or your spirit not your brain. Hes speaking to you a a being not in the same way as one human whould speak to another.
You feel it in your soul and in your heart. Its spiritual, not physical.
Its hard to describe.

We all pretty much understand mind, will and emotions in a body. The other side is conscience, communion and intution in a spirit housed in that body.
You hear God all the time. He is speaking to you through me right now; but he personally speaks to every one who will listen. Do you expereince hope? That is God speaking to you. Consider this carefully, because if your heart is hard; well, God can hide in hope just as sure as he can speak in hope.
In scripture man is a living soul. That soul is made up of the body, the spirit and the heart. There have been many books written on these nine attributes.
Now to speaking. The Lord speaks in dreams and visions, as a loud or soft voice, in his written and spoken word, as a circumstance of seeming good or evil in your life. He can also put people in your path and he can speak through those who seem to be or are really against you.
Your heart contains the conscience, communion and intution which are much like the mind, will and emotions of the physical body. It may be an increase or decrease in the sense of communion or something that prompts a strong intution. In order to hear, you must be in communion and have a clear conscience.
mind, will, emotions -body
communion. intution, conscience -spirit
love, faith, hope --God
It can be an emotional confirmation from the Bible, it can be a dream, a spoken word. It can be his leading; which is no more a mystery than following the lead in a dance. Probably a little harder for men to learn.
Consider your own hopes in the light of what God might want for you. Speak questions to your hopes and start from there. For Christians Christ becomes our hope. Then we can look back and see what we did with our hope, compared with what he wanted. That speaks to us also.

We don't hear a loud voice from God. He speaks to us in many ways.
Lets say I pray for something. I have a need but dont know the answer. So I wait till I hear from the Lord on it. It may take several days or weeks before I get an answer.
And he may answer me in different ways. I could be reading the bible and read a passage that speaks about my situtaion and it will be clear to me that He has answered me.
Or I can be in fellowship at church or talking to someone and they say something that gives me the answer.
Or it may come to me in my mind. Either way, you get a sense of peace about it. It is no longer a worry or bothering you anymore and the answer matches up with what Jesus would want for your life. It is a wonderful experience and only a true believer can understand.
Hope this helps
God Bless

Many Christians believe that the body the body is not yours, but it is a temple of God. Jesus Speaking to your heart means that you are being moved by the spirit. mabey you asked the Lord a question and hes giving you an answer. you dont always hear anything directly its how you feel emotionally and sometimes physically.

Well, it means that Jesus is speaking to you through His word. The Bible is his word. As you read the bible, sometimes, an answer will somehow pop up in your head to questions roaming in your head. And, it's called Faith. You don't hear anything. You feel very, satisfied.

The Word of God was written in our hearts and minds, as spoken in Matthew 5:8, but one sin by us, opens the door for Satan to take what God has given to us. The commandments of the One true God was not written on stone, but in our hearts, as Jesus told us in John 1:9 and Luke 8:11-18
Able, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob did not receive the commanments on stone tablets, but in their hearts.

Jesus does speak to you, through His word and in your heart. You just have to be very quiet to hear it. Some call it your conscience. If you ignore this little voice, it will eventually stop and you will keep sinning and not asking for forgiveness.

I think they mean God's guidance. Christians experience it all the time.
It sometimes happens to me that when I read the Bible there's a specific verse that goes right into my heart. I know immediately that it's something God is telling me. It's quite amazing how the right verse often pops at at the moment when I need it.

Jesus's Word goes right into your soul. You not only hear it. You feel it. That's because God's Word is the Living Word.
