A religious person is capable of living a peaceful existence.
However, religion can also be a catalyst for war and violence, as we have seen repeatedly throughout human history.

No. This flesh age (this world) is a total mess. Why? Because it is given that man would run things. This is what you get when man has run of things, not good is it?
The government of Christ will be at peace;
all that offends will be done away with.
Only peace and harmony will remain.

With the proper attitude and habits a christian can have a peaceful life. Saying you are christian and being a christian are two different things. If you can't walk the walk--don't talk the talk

No that is why we need Jesus the prince of peace="Unto us a child will be born, a son will be given and He will be almighty God, and the prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6 predicted 700 bce
and this brought me to this peace in Jesus=truth being truth-one sin separates us from God for all eternity-once it was even a lie-now one fulfilled the mission and paid for all of our sins-now the only thing between us and him is unbelief. "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

the wages of sin is seperation from God, but the gift of God is everlasting life." Romans chapters 3:23 & 6:23
the heavens declare the glory of God and His Word reveals who he is."Psalm 19
when one does not want to know God personally their god becomes whatever is most important in their life-and since they know that the true God would be infallible-they blind themselves to truth-especially about salvation in Jesus =
some that reject the truth blind themselves to reject the truth and it is a poor way to deal with truth
people mock the truth-Jesus taught to love your enemies and gives the power to do it. why not try=

I st Peter 3---so do not let others deter or determine you life =in Jesus-pray with your children for his true salvation-Jesus by your precious blood set this one and others free, bind satan whose greatest victory is in getting others to believe he doenst exist and loose your Holy Spirit to bring conviction of sin and salvation. Amen

the biggest reason people chose to reject the teachings of Jesus is self chosen spiritual blindness

Share with my Jewish people Isaiah 52:13-53:12 Jesus pictured promised to die for ous sins
"He that rejecteth my words the same shall judge them in the last day." John 12:48

I prayed- "Jesus help me, come into my heart-I am sorry for my living against you and your word forgive my sins and be my friend, amen."

He said he would in Revelation 3:19&20 "I love you, repent from your sins, Behold I knock on your heart door to come in deliver you and be your friend if you ask me in."

NOw Jesus is my savior best friend, and messiah and life is grand, David. thanks good question..

when you come to the truth-live for Jesus and help others come to Jesus and serve Him and fight to protect others from this and other deceptions to reject salvation-most important share the Gospel too.
have a great day and time will tell when one truely becomes truely open to truth there is only one main question Who is Jesus to you to those who are born-if they chose to say anything but truth then anything is an option.

Someone has to pay for your and my sins-or we can pay for them forever in you know where and it aint heaven.

may you find true peace in Jesus too now and forever more.
