I lost about 15 pounds last year (that's all I really needed to loose). Anyway, I gained about 11 pounds back over the holidays (Turkey Day and Christmas....darn those two (just kidding!)), and since then I haven't really been able to loose alot. First of all, I was EXTREMELY strong willed and dedicated when I first lost the weight. But now, I seem to have lost that will power (sadly). I lost about 4 of those 11 extra pounds....Then gained about 6 back due to different celebrations and what-not with my family. I REALLY want to loose those 15 pounds again. Do you have ANY suggestions what-so-ever for loosing weight (**that's quick and easy to stick to**).??? One extra question, do Sit-Ups, Lunges, and stretching count as 'Exercise'? If so, how long should I do them for each day?? PLEASE HELP!! I'm DESPERATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*******************************$$%@^&#$!!!!!!!!!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!!

I don't appreciate Negative comments, or junk about "Detox" or stuff about Hoodia or "AMAZING DIET PILLS!!" I want a 'natural', easy, and FAST way to loose weight without my friends and family getting suspicious....

If you are truly *desperate,* then you must make a renewed commitment to stay away from the junk food and extra calories that are causing the weight gain in the first place! You are absolutely correct that being strong willed is key - and being strong-willed is also a choice! You can get there again, but it will take determination on your part.

Sit-ups, lunges, and stretching definitely count as exercise. Lunges can be a great cardio/strength training combo. They tone a large muscle group (which will allow you to burn more calories at rest) and they also get your heart rate up if you do them at a brisk pace. I would do 3 - 5 sets of 20 lunges each day. Sit-ups are good too, just make sure you are doing them correctly so you don't strain your back or neck. Lying on your back, pull your belly button towards your spine and exhale as you lift off the ground. Keeping your belly button pulled in will help isolate your stomach muscles and keep your lower back from arching off the ground. Stretching is an essential part of a balanced exercise program, and you can do it everyday. I would alternate strength training days with cardio days, and then add a stretching regime before and after each day.

Stick with it and you will succeed! There is no safe method of overnight weight loss - and the few methods that actually cause quick weight loss to occur *never* make it *stay off* when you quit taking the supplement - you will gain it right back. Stay away from snake oil and just reaffirm your committment to do it the healthy way!

First of all let's be realistic ... you need to do much more than 15 pounds. Like a lot of us, you have fooled yourself into thinking that you were closer to your weight target then you appear. If you have a full-length mirror, take over your clothes off and look in the mirror, and then think again about whether 15 pounds is realistically is what you need to lose.

You may also want to calculate your B. M. I., (body mass index)

If you're B.M.I. is more than 25 then you will need to lose weight.

Assuming you actually do need to lose only 11 pounds, your best approach watching what should be controlling your food portions not aggressive exercise.

Exercise itself unless it's done for long periods of time and regularly, will not cause you to lose weight or keep it off.

Think about what should be eating and control the amount of starches especially in your intake. When you're thinking how much of each item you wish to eat, look at the palm of your hand minus the fingers, and that is the size of portion you should be eating at one time, or meal.

If you are eating more than not. I hope that helps!

Hi, I am a therapist, nutrition adviser and hypnotherapist. Short term you can use high quality protein shakes for one or two meals ( I use and sell Forever Living products but you can get them online) but once you'velost the weight, keep up the sit-ups as they do count. If you regain 5 lbs go straight back on at least one protein shake a day.
Hope this helps. If You would like a personally scripted, self help c.d. get in touch

Only one answerer for you kiddo. Cardiovascular training.
Running, aerobics, StairMaster, swimming, ET AL. It is fun, especially now with spring, running outside is the ultimate high. Also it helps when you see results and people see results. They will do a double take when they see you coming. Sit-ups, lunges and stretches are great for toning, but you need to lose a little padding to get the full results of the toning. Good luck!

well back when my cousin was a cheerleader and we had big dinners we went for a mile walk around her neighborhood and we would always lose about 2-5 lbs after each meal. we would wait about 5-15 mins after we ate before we went walking the heavier the food the more we waited to make sure that the nutrients got in our system before we walked off the pounds. we would spend about 1 hr walking, swinging, coming up with new cheers, practicing her old ones and racing each other. it helps when there is someone to do it with you. good luck.

Eat lots of salad and proteins, water, also, if you eat bread only eat it if it has 3 or more grams of fiber. It takes a few days of this to get over the cravings for carbs. Good luck
