As far as I know, there is no way for water to leak through 10" thick concrete slab, unless there are cracks in it. Unfortunately cracks in concrete (especially small ones) are a lot more common than most people might think.

Anyway the first thing to do is to find the cracks where water is leaking through. Once you have found these, there are certain sealant products which you can inject into these cracks in order to seal them off and prevent further leakage. The most common sealants for this kind of problem are epoxies or poly-urethane. Of course, you will need the right equipment or the right contractor to inject the sealant into the concrete cracks.

Look for a Concrete Crack Repair specialist or take a look at this web site for more details: http://www.concretenetwork.com/concrete/crack_injection/index.html

This is one solution that might work for you. There may be other ways to address the problem too...

Cheers!

You don't have to. Buy matching grout, mix as per directions and ''sponge float'' into cracks and missing mortar between tiles. After a few days, seal with Thompsons Water Seal.

Sponge float - 10.00
Grout - 10.00
Sealant - 25.00

Total cost about $50.00 (and a heck of a lot less work).
