what type of weapons can be purchased in the USA besides guns,rifles etc hand grenades or anything similar

WOW, well, if you are a NATION and in good standing with the USA, you can buy just about any weapon or weapons system you can afford. There are some items of ordinance that are highly restricted and are only sold to 'super defense partners'.
If you are a not a nation, just and individual, and not a US citizen, you can get an air rifle or such. As a citizen you can purchase fire arms, hand guns and long arms with auto-load capability, but not fully automatic. For full auto you have to have a Federal Firearms License and have to pay heavy taxes for each weapon you have. Explosive devices are not allowed to any one.
