Do you mean 9 stone 11 lbs?
Don't do the 'cereal diet' - just cut down on the fatty, sugary foods and up your fruit & veg intake. Also, start making your food yourself - e.g sandwhiches, soups, broths, cakes.. as i think it will be interesting for you to know what's in your food
I've got lots of recipes, so you know where i am if you need any.
Good Luck

The idea is you eat bowl of cereal for breakfast and lunch then eat a full evening meal no you don't snack in between.
If you are doing it then each bowl of cereal with skimmed milk is worth about 200 calories so during the important part of the day when you need the fuel you are not having it.
Better of with low fat diet and a really good breakfast of two weetabix skimmed milk and banana then wholemeal bread made in to ham salad sandwich for lunch. Evening meal for your weight which is not over weight by much you should be eating more than 400 calories until night time you are starving your body which makes you gain weight.

Low fat diet and exercises best and safest way.

Try to go with a high fiber cereal. It will keep you full longer than basic cereal. I eat Market Pantry Raisin Brain and it has 7 grams of fiber. I posted a link which has several cereals with a higher fiber content. That way you won't have to eat any snacks along with your cereal. I'm currently eating the high fiber cereal and it's working great! Good Luck!

Edit:

I also agree with everyone on eating 5-6 small meals a day or about every 3-4 hours. It will keep your blood sugar levels stable and you won't have the urge to overeat. Also, after you have a meal and don't feel full yet, wait at least 20 minutes. That is how long it take your stomach to tell your brain that you are full. Don't forget to eat your fruits & veggies and some lean protein. Good luck!

You're 911 pounds?

Oh, yeah, you guys and your stones.

Yeah, that's 137 lbs.

Hey, do you guys have scales that say that... iow, you step on them and they are measured in stones? That definitely would be a novelty item over here. Don't tell anyone about this... I think I got a new sales job I'll do on eBay.

Weetabix has a little more fat, less protein but less carbs than Special K. There are a lot of support sites for Special K but if you really hate it, it actually looks like Weetabix might be nutritionally better. It has less calories and much more fiber.

I guess you could lose a few pounds but what is your guy going to grab onto when he's walking with you?

Don't lose more than 10.

sorry, but its just a way to sell their product - advertising.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

You're 5'4" and weight 911 pounds or 91 pounds? If it's 91, you don't need to be dieting at all. If it's 911 pounds, you should go to a nutrition specialist.

eat weet bix for brekky... it is good for you- expecially the hi-fibre ones...... have a piece of fruit for a snack, a salad with tuna for lunch and veggies and a small palm sized piece of meat for dinner..... balance is the key- you need a bit of good fat, protien and carbohydrates for your body to run efficiently.... you have about 1500 calories per day to play with

any excercise you do will help you with your weight loss goal and weight training is great for you as the more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism goes and the more fat you burn
