While I did enjoy the flavor of meat before going vegan, and if I tasted it now I still would enjoy the flavor, I would not eat any steak in front of me, no matter how mouth-watering. Eating meat is cruel and unhealthy - for the human eating it, for the animal whose life was a nightmare in providing it, and unhealthy for the Earth that feeds livestock.

My sister and I are roommates and she's not veg at all. She makes very delicious smelling meaty meals for herself, and I've never tasted, nor have I been tempted to.

While I'm not a strict vegetarian, I eat no mammals. If the most "delicious steak" in the world were in front of me I would taste it (as I have my husband's meals from time to time). I imagine that I wouldn't like it. My father was a butcher and owned a meat market. I grew up with beef and pork and never really liked it that much.

No. What part of being vegetarian don't you get? It's not a fad, it's a lifestyle, a choice.

Your delicious is my repulsive. I was never much for steaks even way back when. Even as a young child I never liked meat off a bone.

And then there's the health factor. I don't seem to have a problem with my cholesterol...

Actually I would give it to my Husky. I'm sure he would appreciate it. It is not only for ethical reasons I will not buy or eat meat but also how it changes you physically, mentally, and spiritually. It takes time for it to get out of your system; but like a drug the more time you are away from it the cleaner your body and spirit feels.

Oh by the way I feed my dog vegetarian dog food and he is doing great. I do give him meat if something comes my way, and inevitably it will. The universe is full of little tests. I do not want to waste an animal sacrifice so I give meat in such circumstances to animals that can run off of it better than humans are suppose to.

No, of course not. When I first became vegetarian, it may have tempted me, but I still wouldn't have eaten it then. Now even just the smell of meat is discusting, eating it is unthinkable.

Knowing I can be nourished and healthier than ever without a creature having to die for that to happen is all the reason I need.

Won't even smell it. The thought of meat disgusts me, therefore why would I eat a steak? Nothing could possibly make it delicious to me.

Obviously you are trying to score points with this question. Absolutely not. Kind of think of it, is this an insult? If you set your mind, soul and body to be vegetarian, taste and desire are irrelevant to the food you take because you are immune to such temptations.

Bad question: deliciousness is founded on appeal. If meat is not appealing to a vegetarian, then it will appear nasty.

Deliciousness is in the tongues of the beholder.
