Bummer!

Why don't you migrate to Sun Solaris 10 OS, instead?

It's much better and all Linux and MS Windows programs work on it and it's got a lot of features like it's self-diagnostic and self-repair ability. Is invulnerable to the viruses and worms etc that Windows is vulnerable to. And, best of all, it's legally free and you get it with a free licence!

It's state-of-the-art for 64 bit + tech processors!

Download it from the link given below.

All the best!

Cheers!

Please don't try a Validation crack, it's illegal and will just get you into more trouble.

You don't need to go illegal when you have legal solutions available.

If you still want to go ahead with that option, then use the information on this link http://www.mydigitallife.info/2006/12/03/permanent-method-to-crack-wga-and-patch-windows-xp-inc-mce-or-2003-as-genuine/

Check this too http://www.mydigitallife.info/2006/11/05/view-and-retrieve-or-change-windows-xp-vista-2003-2000-and-more-and-office-xp-2003-92-product-key-or-cd-key/

By the way, if it's only the SP2 that you need, you can download it from http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows/xpsp2.html

I'm not sure how you can get the updates. I'm really just wanting to comment on what Curtis R posted. Curtis, you assume that this gentleman pirated this windows XP. I was just reading an article the other day about how some people have been purchasing new computers and the computers are already installed with a pirated version of XP to save the company money.
Here are some links to read. Don't ASSUME. The gentlemen said in the beginning the he "just found out" that his version was illegal.

Here are some links talking about illegal Microsoft software.

No. Microsoft has announced the killswitch. As soon as microsoft finds out about this, your PC will restart without you telling it and you won't be able to log on in your account anymore. I suggest that you buy a genuine XP Pro Operating System.

Are you sure its illegal - if you bought it from Dell or somewhere big like that its not! A lot of people find the 'validation tool' fails. In that case you e-mail or phone Microsoft and complain and they help you fix it.

You still can get critical security updates, but improvements are blocked. If you are prepared to cooperate with Microsoft to identify the pirate supplier they may make your copy legal

You can't get updates unless you have a legal copy. I suggest you either buy a genuine version, or see if you can buy a licence from Microsoft, for the one you have.

My father in law had this recently and in the end payed for the legal version on line.We had been trying for weeks to sort out the problem and in the end it was the best option,I think it cost about £80

Yes, but first put a damn patch over that eye of yours! Then, collect $150 and buy a valid license.
