Many vegetarians consume eggs and dairy. If you eat no meat, poultry or fish, you are a vegetarian. Vegans consume nothing that comes from an animal. If you eat fish only, you would be a pescavore. If you eat chicken too, you are an omnivore. Being a vegetarian has loads of health benefits if done right. A well balanced diet of leafy greens, fruits, vegetables, proteins, whole grains, and legumes or pulses will make you feel great. If you eat cheese that contains animal rennet (from the 4th stomach of slaughtered male calves-veal) that would not be vegetarian. You can get lots of cheese that has vegetarian rennet-Cabot brand is a good one. Good luck!

Being a vegetarian/ vegan means more than just giving up certain foods, It would be something that you live by.... If you commit yourself to vegetarianism, then I don't see why you couldn't call yourself one... There is such thing as an ovo-lacto(or lacto- ovo) vegetarian... they don't eat meat(Including red meat, poultry, fish, sea animals) And they do consume some animal products such as dairy and eggs. So If you committed yourself to an ovo-lacto vegetarian diet then I really don't see why you couldn't call yourself one.
Vegans do not consume eggs and dairy, and other animal products such as honey.

You definately qualify under the vegitarian category if you don't eat meat. Just eliminating meat from your diet means that you are a vegitarian. Not eating any animal products (cheese, milk, eggs, etc) means that you are a vegan, which is basically a self-important, egocentric vegitarian.

If you eat no meat, but do eat eggs and cheese, then you are an Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian. No animal needs to die for you to live.
Personally, I like a good steak, but my wife is an Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian. It is much easier being Ovo-Lacto than being a Vegan. It is much easier to get your required protein.

you're style of backwards on that one. farm animals motives greenhouse gasoline issues because of the fact of ways it incredibly is farmed commercially. vast feed plenty the place the cows consume and consume and fart and fart, extra so than they could in the event that they have been grass fed on the variety. The corn that they are fed is grown with man made fertilizers that are derived from organic gasoline. each and everything; the fertilizer, the corn, the extra youthful cow, the beef, and so on., is trucked throughout everywhere, using extra gasoline. it extremely isn't any longer the cow (or poultry or pig, it extremely is all quite comparable) it extremely is the subject: it extremely is the marketplace. And the marketplace exists because of the fact human beings in progressed international locations consume too lots damn meat. in case you're gonna consume meat, a minimum of consume interior of reach organic and organic meat, it extremely is as benign because it may get. yet incredibly, being a vegetarian (back, consume as lots interior of reach nutrients as you may) is a lot greener than paying for a hybrid or regardless of.
