I am not sure what type of information you are seeking, but I was a paramedic for years and know a great deal about the functions of the human body. I can tell you that the human body is made up of muscle thats similar to beef, and I personally think the body has a hard time digesting protein that is so similar to its own cellular makeup. The human body can thrive on a vegan diet. Scientifically, we are designed to be herbivores. If we were meant to eat meat, we would posses the ability to hunt, capture, kill and eat our prey without the use of tools or cooking methods. We have two tiny incisor teeth, and the rest are flat like other vegetarian creatures. Carnivores have a mouth full of canine teeth. Humans are perfectly designed for gardening, with an imposable thumb for picking fruits and vegetables.

Please don't tell me you are gonna say "Humans are omnivores and need to eat meat!"
Can I ask you a question? If we had to eat meat why would eating it kill us(cholesterol)?Animals that have to eat meat can intake unlimited amounts of meat and cholesterol and be fine, humans cannot. You can obviously tell that, since Heart Disease happens to be the #1 killer in the U.S.
Yeah, your body can digest meat, but it can also digest carboard, that doesn't mean you should eat it.And,I'm sure most vegans are vegans because of ethical reasons, not because we believe that humans are herbivores. But anyways,I believe humans are better off on a vegan or vegetarian diet.Humans are more herbivorous by our nature, look at human breast milk, only 5% protein.

If you compare our body anatomy to other animals humans have alot in common with herbivores.
