Hey Frank, I respectfully disagree. However, I would not want him to be "impressed". I am not trying to impress anyone, just honoring him. You don't need to do it and that's OK. I can only speak on my own behalf, but I just think it is a nice gesture. Whatever you feel is best you can do, and that is fine. I just though a temporary name change was best, for me at least. So yeah, talk to you later Frank, have a nice day :)

Yeah Frank, that is all I meant by the gesture. Just to show respect and how much we care. I mean, I don't expect everyone to do it, but it is a nice thing to do like a flag being at half staf. We all will need to move on, but a mourning period is proper for a guy who meant so much to us all. I suppose everyone does what they believe is proper, that's fine. It was just my suggestion, if one of us died, he would have expressed himself in whatever way he thought was right. Thank you Frank, I was hoping you were not pissed, lol. Glad we see eye to eye :)

Smitty? If you agree with him READ what he wrote. He agrees with me after we talked about it a bit. To disrespect Santana is WRONG bucko. I don't know why you choose to attack me or disrespect Santana's name. But I don't care. I can walk it like I talk it bltch. I am Eric Kanzenbach (651) 222-1089, St. Paul Minnesota. That's my real number, if you don't want to bring your azz, tell me where to go so I can bite your neck and make you scream like the queer you are. It is sad that you are so disrespectful on a tribute to Santana. I just want you to remember that. And you upset me while I was paying tribute Smitty, double "no-no". Fock you, if you act that way in real life, you will always be empty.

Do you know what i really dont think that changing our names to his would impress him, i believe people trying to become more knowledgable about the sport that we love would impress him more and not just posting questions about rocky films.
Knowledge is the key, and this man had the knowledge.

You are right i suppose in a way any gesture that honours the great man is a good gesture, maybe some other readers might look back at some of his answers and questions and learn from him as we all have done.

I think that's a great idea and a wonderful way to show respect to a man that truly deserves it. I changed it from Pancho to God Bless Santana and i'll keep it that way for a while. It's an honor to do it and thank you for the wonderful idea. I think we all owe him that much because as you can tell by all the nice tributes towards him, he touched all of us.

We miss you Santana D. We love you.

I did this morning. From Cherokee74 to Santana we will miss you so much. How long should I keep it or should I just leave it that forever. You are a good person and a good freind too and thank you for changing your name too. I also changed my avatar to resemble Santana's earlier but changed it back a little while ago. Ill probably keep Santana we will miss you so much for at least a week if not forever.
Thanks

The blogbaba isn't interesting in impressing anyone, Frank you misunderstand. Out of respect for the most dignified and knowledgeable boxing pundit I ever knew, I changed my logo name to Santana....R.I.P, and created the title blogbrother to honor the man. Santana taught me how to treat everyone with respect and to temper my caustic immaturity with decency and class. I thank him for showing me how to respond with honor to people of all levels of intellect and walks of life. A bond of mutual respect was formed between Santana and a lot of people who frequent this site and we have suffered a great loss at his passing. Ric is only asking a show of appreciation for a good and honorable man and I for one would do more if I could.

Ric, Thanks for the opportunity to show respect for Santana, the please in your question was unnecessary. It was an honor to change my logo as a show of respect and love for Santana D. We was my brother
