Yes! It is! Cause in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, it says, "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neitherthe sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor theives nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." Basically it says being gay is a sin, but it's not a sin to have natural instincts. Homo sexuality is just biological disorder not a Hell-worthy pass. Now I know not to believe everything the Bible says and formulate my own logical statements! I wonder what else is wrong?

Er, well, it has stories about invisible gods creating the universe, and about life after death. Those are false.

I don't see why you have to look at the details when the main themes are so glaringly false.

(1) Nowhere in the Bible does it say that the Bible is the only source of God's Word.

(2) The first Christians "were persevering in the doctrine of the apostles" (Acts 2:42; 2 Tim 1:14) long before the New Testament was written — and centuries before we knew with certainty which books were part of the New Testament.

(3) The Bible affirms that Christian teaching is "preached" (1 Pet. 1:25), that the Apostles' successors were to teach what they have "heard" (2 Tim. 2:2), and that Christian teaching is passed on both "by word of mouth [and] by letter" (2 Thess. 2:15; 1 Cor. 11:2).

(4) Not everything Christ did and said is recorded in Scripture (Jn. 21:25).

(5) New Testament authors availed themselves of sacred Tradition. For example, Acts 20:35 quotes a saying of Jesus that is not recorded in the Gospels.

(6) Scripture needs an authoritative interpreter (Acts 8:30-31; 2 Pet. 1:20-21, 3:15-16).

(7) Christ left His Church with divine authority to teach in His name (Mt. 16:13-20, 18:18; Lk. 10:16).

(8) The Church will last until the end of time, and the Holy Spirit protects the Church's teaching from corruption (Mt. 16:18, 28:19-20; Jn. 14:16).

(9) The Church — and not the Bible alone — is the "pillar and bulwark of the truth" (1 Tim. 3:15).

(10) The Bible refers to more sources of the Word of God than only Scripture. Jesus Himself is the Word (Jn. 1:1, 14), and in 1 Thess. 2:13, St. Paul's first epistle, he refers to "the Word of God which you heard from us." There St. Paul is clearly referring to oral apostolic teaching.

Absolutely the Bible is WRONG - it was written by nomads who thought the would was flat - and guess what the mentality of those that believe it to be true hasn't changed either. Non thinking religious fanatics please do yourself a favour take a Look at the history of the Catholic church you will find that 330 yrs after Christ some other nomads got to gether and debated for about 50 years what scriptures they felt best fit their belief system - it was during these debates that they made decided to make Jesus was the Davine son of God - so all this time you have all been following man made scriptures. And please stop spewing the garbage that mommy and daddy tought you at sunday school - get out and read challenge what you have been told and above all think for yourself set yourself free from fear.

You should note that it uses the words Homosexual offenders and not homosexuals, you can be a homosexual and not fall into this warning by being celebate,oh sure it`s a tough choice but a choice all the same.
Homosexuality is more than a disorder it is a free will choice, you can excuse yourself all you like but the truth of the Bible will always contradict you and challenge you as long as you live.
We all can do what you are doing, tear out those parts of scripture that don`t suit us and replace them with our own tainted mentality,it just don`t work and this is why you get upset and as long as you oppose the word of God this is how it will be.

Sin, in itself, has become a 'natural instinct' as such, because of "The Fall Of Man" (read the beginning of Genisis). It is therefore a CHOICE to follow through when temptation arises.
On what authority do you say that sexuality is biological?
There is evidence to suggest that Alcoholism is genetic, but there is still a choice of whether or not to drink. Even if you believe that people are genetically predisposed to being homosexual, there will always be a choice involved.

It ain't always right but it's never been wrong. Don't beat your head against a tree. If you did we'd all have sore heads. Incidentily, do unto others as you would have them to do unto you. Be good, you sound like a you care about what you do. I truly believe that god can recognize a good heart. All the religion in the world won't help you if you feel you can use it as a moral license to be arrogant and judgemental. On the other hand, allow it to help you learn to live your life with positive degree of influential character.

At least you have seen black on white what God's will is! So do not be deceived. For those that control their desires upon knowing that these are against God's will there is hope if they lead righteous and holy lives filled with Christian purity and morality.

Those that go against the implicit command know that there is no salvation.

Simply because you do not like what it says, does not make the Bible wrong.

It seems we today want everything our own way. Legal case not going your way, change judges and/or lawyers. Sports game not going your way, fire the officials. You have some bad habit you don't want to control, somebody will claim there is a gene making you do it.

Obeying Bible counsel has been the guide to the best life for humans for the past 2000 years, Dr. Phil notwithstanding.

The Bible is the inspired Wordof God. Yes it is written (with pen) by Man but they were inspired by God. Fitting all the pieces together is hard but it is true.
Homosexuals have the choice (Not about whether yhey are gay or not) whether to act out their homosexuality (lyeing down (having sex) with one of the same sex) just as someone else has the choice whether to commit adultery or not. I'm not saying it would be easy for them but this is what I believe. Homosexuals can live a celibate life if they choose to.
