Your Bavarian accent sucks.
I've served with Brits, Canadians and Aussies, and I have no complaints.
(If I were a ship's captain, though, I might have wanted a confrontation on the seas so I could capture an Iranian gunboat. This is the fault of the Americans, not the Brits. We had about 30 ships in the Persian Gulf when this happened, surely some were nearby at the southern end.)

They did exactly what they were supposed to do. They were meant to create an incident just short of war. If they Had fired on Iran after invading Iranian waters it would have been an act of war, undeclared, and a very illegal act.

Just a point dumkorpf no one writes in an accent. Second when you have pistols and rifles and light MGs and you are surrounded by heavy MGs and auto cannon you surrender.
