A couple of weeks ago, my boyfriend of seven months had his brother-in-law from California send him some money via fed-ex. I received the envelope and asked him what it was. He said he borrowed some money to pay two bills. Today I received the two "bills" in the mail and the balance is still the same, how do I ask, "what did you really do with the 200 dollars?"

Some times after my hubby or myself pays our bills we still receive a bill in the mail saying we still owe the bill. It is very possible that he paid the bill, but the billing itself was processed before they received payment. I would check on that before you jump to any conclusions.

It is quite possible that the payment was only made recently and it would appear in the next bill.

Not the time to start panicking now, especially if you guys are financially independent. Respect him.
