God is love
"Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not want what belongs to others. It does not brag. It is not proud. It is not rude. It does not look out for its own interests. It does not easily become angry. It does not keep track of other people's wrongs. Love is not happy with evil; but it is full of joy when the truth is spoken. It always protects. It always trusts. It always hopes. It never gives up. Love never fails" (1 Corinthians 13:4-8a).
The greatest expression of God's love is communicated to us in John 3:16 and Romans 5:8. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him (Jesus Christ), will not perish but have everlasting life." "God demonstrated His love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." We can see from these verses that it is God's greatest desire that we join Him in His eternal home, heaven. He has made the way possible by paying the price for our sins. He loves us because He chose to as an act of His will.

Man has down thru the ages used many titles to try and describe God,Jews and Christians have called God by names that still do not fully describe Him and how can they? we really cannot pigeon hole God or put Him into little boxes, and human language is totally inadequate to describe such a being as God,and so we struggle and do our best,we can say things about God`s attributes because these have been revealed to us,God is Creator, love and compassion,God is merciful and totally just etc, but the complete essence of what God truly is cannot be known by us mortals.

The term God is used to designate a Supreme Being; however, there are other definitions of God. For example: *Many religious and philosophic systems consider a God to be the creator of the universe. *Some traditions hold that the creator of the universe is also the sustainer of the universe (as in theism), while others argue that their God is no longer involved in the world after creation (as in deism).*The common definition of a God assumes omnipotence, omniscience and benevolence

God is the whole of all consciousness, and greater than the sum of that; God is primary energy, evidently self-existent, having neither beginning nor ending; God is perfect love, living in a spacious present, this eternal Now, in which our perfect creation cannot be changed.
God is every cell, atom, molecule...yet God does not create in physical terms...we use the Mind of God, (we are one with God,) to form physicality. Closer than hands and feet, God is more intimate than the world's vision of "Him".
