Totally, it is the old adage "Actions speak louder than words" & not "do as I say, not do as I do"

I disagree.
The power of myth is in the arrangement of the words. It is phonology. Witnessing that we can look after ourselves is nothing out of the ordinary. Here is Jesus' perspective:
Matthew 5:47
And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?
Matthew 6:28 "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Cannot agree.
I need some lyrics to the instrumental music. Neither one by itself is sufficient. Both words and deeds must go together.
But yes, I do agree that "forcing my beliefs" on someone else is not correct. But that does not mean that I cannot tell my friends about what, in my considered opinion, is a much better way.

I love the lessons of "Kung Fu". I agree completely.
Be a vending machine, not a door to door salesman

No, sorry, can't agree....them what ring my doorbell and try to convert me are just using the same techniques used by every OTHER "door-to-door salesman". Have you EVER bought anything from one of those which didn't cost you the world, and which actually worked or was any good?
